Kbox Studios started operating in April 2011 as a venue for recording and rehearsal services. Owned and managed by Architect Kendel Esperas, it was initially a rehearsal studio solely for his progressive rock band, Kwadro, until he decided to have it opened to the public.
Together with local musicians, visual artists, literarians and art enthusiasts, they help promote the identity of Tacloban music and art scene. Various artists and friends collaborated and worked on giving Kbox a much needed rejuvenated, fresh vibe.
Kbox added an Art Gallery Café where a visual artist is featured every month through solo exhibit. Kbox Studios also holds weekly open mic for poetry and spoken art. Books, art pieces and the aroma of coffee fill up the place. The friends that you'll meet and the cozy vibe will be worth the stay.
